Let’s dive right in!
But before you apply for Adsense you must connect your blog with Google Adsense and install the ad code on your site and you can do so by hovering into the header of your website and drop the HTML code.
There are many bloggers who could not get approved by google adsense even after writing more than 100 blog posts. But some bloggers are there who get instant approval by google adsense with less than 10 or 5 blog posts.
Ok so let’s find out the detailed guide of what to do and what not before applying for google adsense.
Here I am providing 11 checklists that which must follow before applying for google adsense for your wordpress blog.
1. Traffic is Required for AdSense Approval
These are what I grabbed from the post.
Google is now super strict on-site approvals
- You still don’t need traffics to get approved, however you need traffic to earn.
2. Niche does not matter anymore unlike in the past where finance, health, tech, relationship, etc can get you approved faster.
3. Article spinning does not work anymore as google bots are becoming smarter.
4. There’s no expert in google AdSense approval, it is just try your luck thing.
5. Google requires you to write what has not been written before on google, so rephrasing another person’s post may not work.
6. Download sites, music sites and news sites won’t be approved because majority of their contents are copied with copyright issues.
Ha! does it mean that my site won’t be approved?
What is the way forward?
Even though Google says, the number of traffic isn’t a Google AdSense approval factor, according to my personal experiment, I think traffic matters. After all, if you don’t have a decent amount of traffic, you’re not going to make much money from your blog.
2. Set Your Websites Structure Ready With Important Pages
Story Blog… you can write an imaginative story of 600 words per post. write 10 to 15 and share to your groups to gain social share and audience. Why? stories you write are from your head and not copied, neither is the title found anywhere. (Don’t copy people’s stories).
3. Narrow Down Your Niche
Micro-niche blogging is the fastest and the best. A single blog posts of 3k words can get you approved.
Getting a micro-niche to blog about can be hard, although it is not an issue for me. Now create a micro-niche blog that few people are blogging about, write about 4 articles of 1.5k words each, submit your websites to google search console, then apply. check out my guide on how to narrow down your niche here.
4. User-Friendly Interface & Loading speed is Important
Your loading speed is very important here, even if you or I visit a website and do not give a good user experience then we will exit that website. Isn’t it true?
In the same way, your blog’s speed and the user interface are also mattered a lot. So let’s discuss that how you can improve your blog’s loading speed and user experience.
Here we can see your speed if it is in Green then you are well good to go to the next step but if it is red then you must have to fix it.
You should check the core web vitals of your website. And those are loading, interactivity and visual stability.
Remember that you site must load with in 3 seconds for a good user experience.
This is because Google wants to give their users the best user experience. So to give a best user experience your must be load faster which I have discussed above and including that your site’s navigation must be clear and visible with good theme, color and typography.
5. Make Your Blog Posts SEO Friendly
You should optimize your high-quality blog content with the Meta title and description tag.

11. Comment Box
This is the most important thing that I want to say that no one tells about is that each blog post must contain a comment box so that your website visitors can comment on your blog and can give their valuable review or feedback.
In my starting attempts to google Adsense, I have disabled comments so I got a policy violation from google AdSense and my site did not get approved. So I added a comment box and my site got approved instantly.
Applying for Google Adsense
Once you have signed up for Google Adsense, you need to add Adsense codes to your blog. Ads will show as blank until the final approval process doesn’t finish. It may take up to 1 or 2 weeks for the final review and approval.
After the final Adsense approval, you will get a confirmation email saying that ‘The site “yoursitename.com” is now ready to show Adsense ads.’
Yes, now you can add more ads to your site. Within a few hours, you’ll begin to see relevant ads and can start earning money from your Adsense approved blog or website.
Once your earning reaches $10, Adsense will mail you an address verification PIN to the address. Login to your Adsense account and enter the PIN.
You have completed all the steps of the Google Adsense approval process. Once your earning reaches $100, Google will send you or wire transfer your earnings on your bank account.
